Trivia[]
- The Drag-Ghoul is based on the "DRAG-U-LA", the car in The Munsters TV show which Granpa drove. Pictures here.
- The driver is listed as Bel LaGhostly. Béla Lugosi was most famous for portraying Dracula, both on stage and in the 1931 film of the same name.
- Looking at the vehicle skin, one suspects that Bel lies under the coffin-like hood, while his un-named minion drives.
- Rob Zombie named one of his songs after The Munsters version.
- This car features in the Tozzer online comic, under the name Dragula and driven by a vampire named Fang Stroker.
- The expression "R.I.P." normally stands for "rest in peace" or, in Latin, "requiescat in pace," and is a common inscription on tombstones.
