Trivia

• A rather confusing name, this. It's based off the real life AC Cobra Mk II, known in America as the Shelby Cobra. It's presumable that it's changed to DC in Carmageddon II in homage to popular 80s rock band AC/DC. The Codbra bit? Well it's either fishy underwear, or that the word 'Cod' can mean false (knock-off), so 'false Cobra'.
  • Similarly, the word 'knock-off' generally means stolen or a cheap imitation. Here's it's implied to mean they removes limbs.

• Shawnee Smith is an American actress and singer, most famous at the time of Carmageddon II's release for playing Linda in the TV sitcom Becker and since then, for playing Amanda, the heroine of the Saw movies.

• For Carmageddon 64, the convertible gains a roof. Whether it is hard-top or soft-top is unknown.
