Info
A powerup in Carma, Carma2, CarmaTDR, CarmaPS
Type Misc.
Use Timed
Amount 30 seconds
10 seconds (CarmaTDR, CarmaPS)

The Gravity From Jupiter powerup increases the level's global gravity, which means that every object gets heavier. This includes pedestrians, drones, opponents, everything. This means that, for instance, a pedestrian that falls from a medium height, that doesn't kill it normally, might die with this powerup in effect.

As for the player's vehicle, this has quite the impact. Due to the frame being heavier, and thus closer to the wheels, acceleration is a bit slower. On the other hand, braking is a lot faster. Turning is a bit easier, and global impacts hit a bit harder. Also, hills are obviously harder to climb, and jumps are shorter.

This powerup is often combined with Hot Rod or the Afterburner, due to it negating the suspension effect. For its opposite, see Lunar gravity.
