  • The Cutter bears something of a resemblance to the contraption Tina Turner drives in Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.
  • Humungassass gets his name from Lord Humungus, the main villain in Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. The reference to a Wasteland comes from the same film.
    • His name also means "humongous ass" (humongous being slang for "huge").
  • In the game files this car is called Toe Cutter - "Toecutter's gang" feature in the first Mad Max movie.
