Trivia[]
- The Black Hatch seems to reference the black Interceptor from Mad Max, based on a modified Ford Falcon Coupe. The homage is most obvious when one looks at the supercharger air intake on the bonnet and the shape of the headlights.
- The term 'SXE' in pop culture usually denotes the 'straight edge' lifestyle, a hardcore punk subculture which refrains from drugs, smoking and alcohol, often known to its practitioners simple as "edge". The Carmageddon link is rather unclear - think "Razor/edge," and note the idea of fumes "burning [Maxx's] brain" in relation to drugs. However, since the name and bio weren't available in the retail version of TDR, it would have been pretty hard to figure that one out.
- It may be intended that "SXE" is read as "sexy".
