  • Both driver and car are influenced by the cyberpunk movement in literature, which was at its peak in the late 80s and early 90s - around the same time, in fact, as the grunge subgenre of rock music.
  • Heavily modified as it is, there would appear to be a Lotus Super 7 somewhere under there, or at least one of the many Clubmans knockoffs available.
