- Ped Basher appears to be a municipal street sweeper, which has had its brush been exchanged with a set of thorny manhole covers.
- Ped Basher = Pedestrian Basher, possibly owing to said blades.
- It has six wheels. The front and rear pairs steer, resulting in a rather tight turning curve.
- Bash's short name, aside from being longer than his actual name, is a misspelling of Mr. Whippy, a common trade name for Ice Cream vans.
- A driver by the name of Mr. Whip was also featured in Carmageddon 64.
