The Smoke Mines powerup gives the player 5 smoke mines to drop on the level. The mines are identically to the ones Carmageddon: TDR 2000's Mine Shitting Ability gives, except they're constantly emitting white smoke and don't make warning noises. In addition, they also explode on their own after around 20 seconds.

When the camera (not the vehicle) is next to a smoke mine, faint coughing noises will be heard.
