Does the Nosebleed patch add the extra power-ups? the article doesnt make it clear. Ouroboros Omega 13:13, August 25, 2010 (UTC)
- I never improved the article that much because I'm also confused about it. When I first installed the game, it, apparently had the Nosebleed Pack included, don't ask me why. When I installed it again, I tried doing everything I could and I couldn't get the patch to work. Seeing as my first time playing the game was with the patch, I didn't knew what were the differences. If I could make the patch work NOW, I'd gladly update this old article. {EspyoT} 15:56, August 25, 2010 (UTC)
NB Pack/Patch[]
The NB patch is simply intended to bring the new multiplayer gameplay features (from the NB Pack) to the normal TDR2000. So that users without the pack could enjoy the gameplay update even without the new cars and tracks. The pack also fixed issues with the multiplayer code if I recall correctly and thus the patch brought that bugfixing too. The patch quickly became a must-have to play against eachothers on GameSpy etc., the NB patch was necessary for EU gamers to play against US 1.2 gamers. However the patch wasn't that well made and (if I recall correctly once again) some files of the missing NB Pack cars were still there and it could make the game crash. This explains the existance of the NB skin patch.
